• We're committed to keeping our prices as low as possible. Instead of running a storefront, Music Matters is run out of a private studio; hours are only by appointment, and we pass the savings on to you. Feel free to contact us if you'd like to come in and browse, or place your order online and we'll message you to arrange a time for you to pick up your items.

• We love to support or local music-making communities. Any in-stock items are available for free same-school-day or next-school-day delivery to McCook, Southwest, or Cambridge Schools.

• We love our local music teachers! If you are taking private lessons from a local music teacher, just let us know and we'll work in a discount for most items. Looking for a private teacher? Check out our directory (and please let us know if it needs updating).

• We aim to provide what you need. If you don't see something you'd like us to carry, contact us and we'll stock it if we can.

Music Matters is run by Studio Bogardus, a McCook music studio located in a private home. Studio Bogardus wants to connect our community musically. In the future, our goals include setting up ensembles, group classes, jam sessions, and other ways for our community of musicians to connect with each other.
